Bagnell Dam Crossing
Posted June 15, 2009, by The Independent Rage (theindependentrage [at] masterblogreport [dot] com)

This dam/bridge originally carried U.S. 54 before that alignment became a "business route" as it is today. Prior the the dam being built, U.S. 54 traffic in the 1920's had to cross the Osage River on a ferry at the town of Bagnell.
