"The pony truss bridge was determined to be eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

"This documentation was undertaken in 1987 in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement agreed to by the Hillsadale County Road Commission as a mitigative measure prior to replacement of the bridge."
