Overview

The Old Brownsboro Road Bridge is a beautiful stone arch bridge that sits abandoned next to its replacement. The replacement bridge was built in 1967, so that means that this old bridge has to be at least that much older!

Deck View (Looking South)

One can see at the south end of this bridge a person. This is no ordinary person however, this person is perhaps the most lovely woman in all of God's creation. One can stand in complete awe, though, at the fact that the builders of this bridge probably had no clue that one day the most awesome of all creatures in God's magnificent creation would grace this structure with her presence. Perhaps, it is better that they are no longer around to see this day because if they were, they may, in a moment of weakness, be tempted to fall into the sins of pride and boasting.

Western Face of Bridge

Note that the metal railing at the top of the bridge seems to be a more modern fixture to the old bridge.
