Overview

The Goddard Covered Bridge is also known as the Goddard White Bridge. The bridge is the only Town Lattice Truss type bridge in KY.

The bridge is a Town Lattice Truss Covered Bridge. Note that the truss is held together by wooden pegs. Some of the wooden pegs are original hand made pegs. Can you find them?

Goddard Covered Bridge is the only Town Lattice Truss Covered Bridge in KY. Original building date unknown but design patented in 1820. Bridge placed on National Register of Historic Places in 1975. Bridge restored in 2006.
