This was once part of the Chesepeake and Ohio of Indiana Railroad's line from Chicago to Cincinnati. Supposedly one of the most photographed bridges along the C&O route, but I haven't found any evidence to support that claim.

This is actually a railroad bridge converted for road use. It is steel with wood approaches on either side. This is located at the once busy Anoka Junction of the Pennsylvania RR where two lines came together which meant heavy train traffic.

Long removed, US 35 and US 24 dual lane highway cross over this location on a fill.
Built probably by interurban so this pioneer county road could get across, was also a station stop for interurban. Today US 35/24 go thru here on fill and no traces remain of old bridge.
