Lost timber stringer bridge over former Conrail (ex- Penn Central, Pennsylvania Railroad, PCC&StL, Vandalia, Terre Haute and Logansport Railroads) on 500 South in Cutler

Built 1938. Single lane open deck. Low clearance for railroad passing underneath. Completely removed in 1990's and filled in. CR 500 South now level when passing over this location.

Built to allow the Interurban line from Lafayette to Ft. Wayne to cross under the elevated Monon line. Interurban line abandoned in 1932, CSX line abandoned in 1990's, but this structure still remains.

Gilmore Bridge

Hamilton Street Bridge

Indiana 29 Deer Creek Bridge

Replaced 1987. Former bridge removed when new alignment of SR 29 made to bypass "Sycamore Row" along old route. Sycamore Row are large trees sitting right on sides of old road, scary to pass semi's on old stretch due to narrowness.

Monon Railroad Deer Creek "High Bridge"

Monon Railroad SR 25 Bridge

Built 1963. Once carried the famed "Hoosier" and "Tippecanoe" Passenger trains of the Monon Railroad. Was built when a new alignment of State Road 25 was constructed. Old Highway went further West to another underpass of the Monon closer to Delphi.

Lost Bridge over Tippecanoe River and access roads on Formerly CSX(nee Family Lines, Louisville and Nashville, Monon 'Indianapolis, Chicago, and Louisville' Railroads) in Monticello

A slow point on the Monon Railroad's Indy to Chicago route, this bridge was the gateway across the White/Carroll County line into Monticello. Hosted many passenger trains including the "Hoosier" and "Tippecanoe".

Another slow point on the Monon Route, at one time a timber bridge, later through truss, and finally a plate girder bridge removed when rail line was abandoned in early 1990's.

Once carried the Wabash Cannonball Passenger trains, now part of NS busy Decatur District. Bridge had stability problems in Nov 2005 that led to shoring up with ballast and pilings drove in by a crane.

Part of a rail line from Terre Haute to South Bend. Conrail abandoned route through here in 1993 citing damage to this bridge as reason. Amtrak ran their Southwind and Floridian trains on this bridge in 1970's.

Built for the interurban line that went from Ft. Wayne to Lafayette that went out of business in 1930's. Most of the line's ROW is still open and runs beside the Norfolk Southern Railroad(Wabash RR) from Logansport to Lafayette.
