Overview: Lost through truss bridge over Kaskaskia River on Mud Lake Road/Old St. Louis Road/Whittenberg Road
Location: Washington County, Illinois
Status: Removed
History: Built early 1900s, closed early 1930s when the IL 15 bridge (now IL 160/177) opened upstream in late 1920s. Razed 1938.
Design: Through truss

Cox Ferry Bridge

The information came from the 1968 Washington County History Book that was published in coordination of the 150th anniversary of Illinois. It was on Page 13 and provided a photo of the bridge before it was torn down.
