Newburg Road Bridge

I like this bridge with it's latticed end posts and top chords. I'm guessing it was a designer's experiment with cutting down on weight, or maybe saving on material. I've seen those little X's (cresting of sorts) that are on the top of the portals on several Canton B.C. spans.
