Railing detail, looking east This bridge was closed in 1996. The UPRR (UP acquired the C&NW in 1995) wanted the bridge torn down, because for many years, students of nearby Cornell College were accused of throwing rocks at passing trains. The bridge was renovated over 1997-1998. Photo taken by J.R. Manning in July 2007 |
